It’s the matchup of two longtime NFC East rivals we enjoy every year.
The New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys will be playing this Monday at 8:15 PM ET on ESPN and ESPN+, and it’s possible one team will emerge 3-0.
That’s right, the Giants won their first two games, albeit against some fairly mediocre teams.
The Cowboys, meanwhile, lost Dak Prescott to injury and got blown out in Week 1. But a rebound with a 20-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals was a big deal for the team.
There are burning questions for both teams that we have to cover heading into the Week 3 finale. So let’s dive in and talk about what we want to know as we get set for the contest:
1 Can Cooper Rush keep this up?
There was a lot of doom and gloom around the Cowboys after Week 1, but Rush had a pretty clean game against the Bengals, passing for 235 yards and touchdown. As long as he keeps the turnovers to a minimum, he’s surrounded by plenty of talent to keep this up.
Seems like Jerry Jones is happy.
Jerry Jones wouldn’t mind a QB controversy between Dak Prescott and Cooper Rush. He said he’d walk to New York if it meant Rush played so well going forward that the Cowboys had a tough decision to make pic.twitter.com/3aG98I3Fx5

2 Can the Dallas D force Daniel Jones into turnovers?
So far, the Cowboys’ defense has given up just 180 yards a game, good for sixth in the NFL. And we also know that Daniel Jones has taken eight sacks and is prone to turnovers.
Put all that together and that’s a recipe for the game plan.
